osCommerce shopping cart can connect to USPS or UPS servers and calculate shipping costs online for your customers. It does this by looking at the customers postal code and the weight of the products selected and adds the shipping cost to the final invoice. You can also set flat rates for shipping or a table rate according to the price or weight of the products. You have the option to enable or disable any one or all of the above shipping options for your customers.
7. Invoice
osCommerce shopping cart automatically generates an
invoice for your customer with complete details about their purchase including products purchased, quantity of
each product, shipping costs, taxes and discounts. The customer has the option to print out a copy of the
invoice. The store owner also receives a copy of the invoice.
8. Taxes
osCommerce shopping cart can be programmed to automatically calculate the sales tax for the customer depending on his state and location. You can set the rate of tax for each state and also specify if no tax has to be added when shipping to a certain state. The shopping cart automatically calculates and adds the tax to the final invoice. You also have the option not to charge any tax.
9. Discount Coupons and Gift Vouchers
